Dr. Paul J. Byorth has been practicing medicine in his hometown of Billings, Montana since 1996. He is a second-generation doctor and specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the head and neck.

As a specialist, Dr, Byorth accepts new patients based on doctor referrals. He is a preferred provider for a variety of insurance carriers, and accepts Medicare, Medicaid. Please consult your individual insurance policy to ensure that we are in your network.  Our office will help you submit a request for preauthorization for surgery if required. If you do not see Dr. Byorth through a physicians referral, you may be solely responsible for payment. 

Dr. Byorth travels to outlying clinics four times a month, and has hospital privileges at Deaconess Hospital and Saint Vincent Hospital in Billings, Montana; as well as Colstrip Medical Center, West Park Hospital in Cody, WY, Powell Valley Healthcare in Powell, WY, and Washakie Hospital in Worland, WY.  He is one of  the only doctor in the region who uses the Somnoplasty Procedure for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, chronic stuffy nose and snoring,  He is also the only doctor in the area to perform genioglossus advancement for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.  He is consulted by colleagues on radical neck dissections and performs this surgery on a regular basis.

Prescription Refills
Dr. Byorth's policy is that prescription refills require a 72 hour notice. This policy also applies to all patients of other physicians seen while on call.


Billing

Our office requires co-payments and deductibles be paid at the time of the office visit. We accept cash, personal checks, as well as MasterCard, Visa and Discover.
